Kiiko Matsumoto defines Qi as “the ability to deliver nourishment to every cell in the body”. Interruption of this vital function underlies the “failure to thrive” in both children and adults.

I love Monika's classes.  She is able to organize the approach in Kiiko Matsumoto acupuncture and make it systematic and accessible.  She revisits the technical aspects and drills us in the important details, all the while being helpful and positive.  She is a delight as a teacher but also very effective.

Helen Henry, MD

“I was completely blown away and grateful with how readily Monika was able to convey (Kiiko’s) techniques in a way that allowed for comprehension and application simultaneously... The combination of her passionate approach, knowledge, and patience is a gift that will transform your practice”.

May 11-12, 2019: “The Spine Reveals”

Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, 75 NW Couch St. Portland, Oregon 8:30 to 5 Saturday 8:30 to 3:30 Sunday

Presenter: Monika Kobylecka, L.Ac.

This is a limited enrollment hands-on class. Monika will cover all of Kiiko Matsumoto’s palpation diagnosis on the back and spine.

Kiiko's simple and powerful treatments for  "structural imbalances" may be her most important and enduring legacy. More than mechanical manipulations, these treatments provide deep and lasting support for associated internal organ weaknesses.

For instance, her treatment for scoliosis includes treatment points on the Kidney and the Lung channels, two organs directly impacted by a lateral curve of the spine.

All of Kiiko's work-- and certainly her Structural Imbalance strategies for...

  • Scoliosis and kyphosis (Shoulder pain & back spasms, asthma, GYN issues)

  • Sphenoid bone imbalances (Insomnia, jaw pain, skin problems)

  • Visceroptosis (QL pain, frequent urination, tired legs)

  • Four Corners & Dai Mai Treatments (Carpal tunnel, hip, sciatica)

  • The "fulcrum" treatment on the ankle (knee pain, fibroids, poor circulation in legs)

...constitute a subtle and profound type of bodywork.

Take this rare opportunity to get hands-on training -- and clear step-by-step explanations -- from a knowledgeable,  skillful teacher.

Prerequisites:  Foundations of Hara Diagnosis I or II (see above)
