Cosmetic Acupuncture, or Facial Acupuncture, is a holistic beauty treatment that offers true rejuvenation to the health of your skin and body. The focus of Cosmetic Acupuncture is to address underlying imbalances that may lead to the appearance of wrinkles, sagging, puffiness, and other signs that are commonly a result of prolonged stress, accumulated muscle tension, or the otherwise natural process of aging.
A Cosmetic Acupuncture treatment will include constitutionally-supportive body acupuncture points and specialized needlework on the face with the application of natural facial skincare products, gua sha, and massage. The effects of these treatments will help with the following:
Decreasing the appearance of wrinkles
Eliminating fine lines
Reducing puffiness
Improving muscle tone
Boosting circulation
Improving complexion
Reducing age spots and sun damage
Hormonal balance for acne prone or dry skin
Reducing redness and preventing rosacea flares
Facial Acupuncture is much more than just a cosmetic treatment! Addressing tension patterns in your face, jaw, and neck with the support of constitutional acupuncture points provides for a deeply restorative experience that is equally as profound for internal wellness as it is for external appearance. You can expect to leave each treatment feeling relaxed, along with a more sculpted look, and glowing complexion!
Cosmetic Acupuncture is not billable to insurance. It’s only offered as a treatment course initially, requiring a commitment of either 6 or 12 treatments. The lasting effects become most noticeable after about 6 treatments. More than one course of treatment may be recommended. Once you’ve gone through an initial series of either 6 or 12, individual sessions can be purchased on an as needed basis. Monthly or quarterly maintenance sessions can prolong results for years to come!
Pricing:
Individual treatments: $135 (only available after completing an initial course of treatment)
Package of 6: $810
Package of 12: $1500 (comes out to $125 per treatment)
Other things to note:
– Facial areas that have undergone Botox within 3 weeks or fillers within 3 months will be avoided.
– This is not an esthetic facial - no masks, steam, extractions, etc.
– Results will vary, and more than one course may be recommended.
